Medical College Raipur

PROFILE-

Pt J.N.M. Medical College Raipur came in to existence on 9th September 1963 when the college was started with 60 students in a small OPD block of Ayurvedic College. The college received recognition from Medical Council of India in 1969. MBBS seats were increased from 60 to 100 in the year 1976 and again increased from 100 to 150 in the year 2009.

An insight 700 beds, over 200 doctors 5000 nursing and 6000 paramedical staff , state of the art blood bank and open canteen . About 3500 – 4000 people visit the hospital daily.

INTRODUCTION-

Pt JAWAHAR LAL NEHRU MEMORIAL MEDICAL COLLEGE is the first Govt. Medical college of CHHATTISGARH state. It has a long history of producing world class DOCTORS & amp; other medical professionals since the last 40 years. And like every year in continuation of its great tradition, our college is going to hold its 41^st annual sports meet. We, the sports committee, are proud to organise this grand event titled VERVE -09, Relishing the sporting spirit.., where you see the team spirit of doctors, being displayed for six zealous days. There will be games, entertainment, fun, joy, and much more.........
